About this guide

Rovaniemi Reindeer (rovaniemireindeer.com) is an independent guide to reindeer rides in Rovaniemi: the farm visits, the forest sleigh rides, the night safaris and the Santa Claus Village days, plus when to go and what to wear. We are not a reindeer farm, a herding family, a tour operator, Santa Claus Village or GetYourGuide, and we are not any business that trades under the name "Rovaniemi Reindeer": the site name describes what we write about.

Facts here are checked against official and primary sources (Visit Rovaniemi, Santa Claus Village, the Reindeer Herders' Association) and against the tour listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews. Ride lengths, prices and seasons change; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a GetYourGuide link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend. Details on the affiliate disclosure page.
